A series of personal experiences cannot exist if there is no beginning and the end.” These are the repetitive letters of a person pleading that you won’t pick his/her gender or nationality, but as the word persists, thus does the tone of the poem get more serious. The fact that one person cannot be an example for others or can dictate policy does not mean that all people are bad, just because you don’t agree with a certain issue, doesn’t mean that you should be let You have every right to say what you think, and have the ability to express your opinion that is intended to affect others, however you shouldn’t bully someone; it ruins the essence of your message and changes the nature of the argument.

Because that is just what we human beings do, we seek conformity and acceptance. However, this gives us blinders, which means we can’t see our own position, right from wrong, and can often disconnect our feelings towards a problem to a disagreement with the norm.

The discussion on rapping and other topics in Scotland is a prime example. I give my two cents for rapping, but when it comes to the right time and setting to society, it should not rule the day. It is not part of our daily life, it is what is running our society, but due to its dominance, it has been required to dominate our minds, as it applies to crime, drug abuse, and gang warfare, simply to name a few. We have overdosed on the negativity surrounding the devolved system in Scotland. We have been told that culture is what sets Scotland apart, it is in music, art, balladry, and local language that gives us that sense of community, in a twisted way which we need to eradicate, and modern culture should help in rectifying I know this is a crazy thought, but I’m serious in my thought process.

Out of all the maligned aspects of Scottish culture, the population finds rapping and other music to be the most positively destructive. However, however, if we can discern about what the meaning of it is, it is surely to be to give someone a breathing space. I know. We all can leave our past demons at home, but those issues can’t suffocate us from carving out our way in life. Whether it is knowledge or other living things; we should accept them as they come and escape from the judgmental society behind.
